We successfully replaced five old windows in Toronto with new black ones. The challenge was in the window frames. They were old and the material of the house itself underneath them was worn out. But we were able to install new triple-glazed windows, strengthening and fixing the window opening.
Due to the soil movement, many houses go down into the ground a bit every year. Although it may not be seen from the outside, their structure changes as they sink deeper.
