Absolutely loving the finished work. The house already feels warmer and random drafts of air are gone. The team was very professional and friendly from start to finish. Thank you HTR!

Vadim was very helpful and informative. HTR was able to complete the installation within a few months of our order. Eugene, Alex and Dennis were polite, efficient and cleaned up and vacuumed after the job. They continually checked in to see what we wanted done with any materials, and gave a demonstration of how to use and maintain the windows. Very friendly and nice service all round. Our neighbours already told us how much they love the new look of our house!

Our Recent Projects
We dream big and work hard. That’s why many clients, from residential to industrial, appreciate our windows and doors replacement & installation projects. Regardless of the building type you need our services for, we are here to help. Check out our clients’ recent successful windows and doors replacement and installation stories.
We successfully replaced five old windows in Toronto with new black ones. The challenge was in the window frames. They were old and the material of the house itself underneath them was worn out. But we were able to install new triple-glazed windows, strengthening and fixing the window opening.
Due to the soil movement, many houses go down into the ground a bit every year. Although it may not be seen from the outside, their structure changes as they sink deeper. That’s why the doors can’t close anymore. Luckily, the HTR team performed a seamless door replacement, so now they operate smoothly.

HTR Windows & Doors Full Product Warranty

Home renovations are an investment, much in the same way as putting money into the stock market is. With investments, you’ll want to do as much research as you can before sealing the deal. With windows, you’ll want to initially decide on what ones will look good in your home. You’ll also want to figure out the reasoning behind your investment. You can do this by asking yourself a couple of questions. Are you wanting more ventilation in certain areas of your home? Are you just wanting to add a little more natural light in the living room? Are you wanting a basement emergency egress window? Are you just wanting to increase the aesthetic appeal of your home? All of these questions should be answered when you’re getting the King City window and door installation done.
After answering some of the important questions surrounding your reasoning for getting new windows, it’s time to contact a window contractor to see what the next steps are. The contractor will typically want to drop by and take some measurements and answer any questions you have.
What Types Of Windows Are Out There?
Windows are the eyes of your home, and because of that, you’ll want to get windows that will increase the aesthetics of your home. When people drive up to a home, the windows are nearly one of the first things you see. A home with properly placed, nice, big windows will always garner some comments when people drive past.
Some of the different types of windows are:
Awning Windows
Casement Windows
Double Slider Windows
Double Hung Windows
Single Slider Windows
Single Hung Windows
End Vent Slider
Picture Windows
You’ll typically see at least one of these windows in any home you go into. Each of these windows serves a different purpose. For those wanting to showcase an area in their backyard, they might just go with a picture window with an attractive frame inside of it. For those that just want to add more ventilation in a specific area of their home, then a double slider window might be an ideal choice.
Energy Savings From Windows
Once the windows are installed, it’s good to keep a track of your monthly energy bills. Many people report that their monthly bills are lower in comparison to when they have the old and drafty windows. This is because your furnace system won’t be working nonstop in the winter months, and your air conditioner won’t be on overtime throughout the summer to keep the warm air from seeping through the window.
While getting new windows can initially seem intimidating, you’ll be very glad you got the job done once you’re relaxing in your home with the natural light flowing freely in.
Why New Windows?
Window and door replacement is not just a whim but a necessity. Here are just a few more reasons why.

Frequently Asked Questions
Before deciding to get a windows replacement, there might be some things you’re unsure about. Our specialists answered some of the most frequent questions they get before starting windows and doors replacement and installation projects.
Common signs include increased energy bills, difficulty opening or closing windows, drafts around the window frames, condensation between panes, and noticeable damage to the frame or glass.
Yes, it is a normal situation. Especially in old windows that are constantly used, air and water leaks occur over time. But even expensive and high-quality windows let some water through. This is due to the construction of the windows – they are equipped with drainage holes, through which the water inside can drain away. Regardless of how well the windows are constructed, a functional window will inevitably retain some water after a heavy rain or as a result of heavy condensation. The difference between bad and good windows is that the bad windows let the water inside the house, while well-designed windows direct the water away from the wall.
Condensation usually occurs when warm air inside the house meets the colder surface of the window. It occurs more commonly in poorly ventilated areas with high humidity. Also, damaged seals on double-pane windows can cause condensation between the panes.
Mold, poor air quality, damaged window panes and poor insulation are only a few reasons why condensation on windows should be addressed properly.
Most windows can experience condensation under certain conditions, especially in areas with high humidity or significant temperature differences. However, well-insulated and properly installed windows should minimize condensation issues.
Make sure your windows are well-sealed and insulated. If condensation persists, contact us to upgrade to better-insulated windows.
